CAPT is an automotive manufacturing company that wanted a building for their new Research and Development facility as a show place for attracting new customers while displaying their dedication to developing new methods and aluminum alloys for casting aluminum auto parts. CDL responded by designing a modern high-tech looking building that was influenced by one of their products. The front portion of the building houses the engineering staff where the extensive use of glass provides natural light to all work areas. The rear portion of the building houses the testing area, testing labs, x-ray lab, and mechanical rooms.
