Emergency Operation Center and Police Station The project involved planning for a new EOC and Police Training facility. The design process involved the users and design team visited newly opened EOC’s prior to starting this project followed by a week-long design charrette. The process included interviews to create a room by room program followed by an evaluation of the original terminal building as a possible location for the new facility. The facility would not meet the current codes structural requirements for a building of this type, therefore, the design team prepared planning documents and a written report for airport use in determining a future site.
