The Endoscopy Suite at the Beckley VA required upgrades to meet the current VA guidelines and a new HVAC system to meet the air quality standards. The suite consisted of two Procedure rooms, an Instrument cleaning/decontamination room, a Scope washing room, a Clean scope storage room, a Staff gowning area, and a janitor’s closet.

Other necessary ancillary spaces such as Restrooms, Med room, Clean storage, Waiting, Reception, Records, Soiled utility room, Offices, Labs, Stretcher storage, etc., were incorporated into the Same-Day Surgery Pre-Op/Post- Op area or were already established and shared on the same floor.
